Seems as though some are a might recoil sensitive, I reckon...
lol.....the never ending debate....which is the best caliber? Which is the best pistol?
Neither will ever be definitively answered in my lifetime...
Hey now, I didn't say that.
I made no claims one way or the other.
It's just that it seems a large number of people claim that .40 is too snappy.
I am sure you have heard that at least once, lol.
I am sure you have heard that at least once, lol.
Yes, I hear it a lot, actually......didn't think you were advocating the .40 as the best caliber....you wouldn't open that can of drama...lol....
There seems to be a common theme here..., love for a Sig P229 in .40. I like mine too. But since .40 cal is obsolete I can easily convert it to a 9mm. And then convert it back to .40 cal once it becomes latest and greatest caliber again.
Got a trade in glock 23c for $430 with 4 mags. Ammo slightly more than 9mm and I can't tell the recoil difference. Was my first glock and 40 cal
Had a pic. Will edit later and post

Yeah, my first Glock was a 23c, bought new in the early 90's.
ETA: and obviously, since I don't sell guns, I still have it.
I had a P229 in .40, but didn't really care for it and sold it. I do like my P226 and P239 in .40, tho. I like them even more with the .357sig barrel. Maybe I just don't like the P229...There seems to be a common theme here..., love for a Sig P229 in .40.
Same 'ole age old argument; .75 caliber Brown Bess or .69 caliber Charleville?
