Sir, I stand corrected! 14gr. was for the 168gr bullet. The 200gr bullets were loaded with 9gr H110.
    Sorry for that.

No worries. I’m not experienced enough to know if that was too much powder without looking at the manual. I just keep a recording of what load data I have used in my phone.

I guess I could have edited the post after I realized I wrote it down wrong, but it was just easier to correct my mistake. Didn't want anyone else to try that load because of me.

I primed 160 FC 308 cases yesterday, loaded 30 test rounds today. Finally putting Tac loads together with 175gr SMKs. Trying out 5 different primers across the same 3 loads then picking one and tweaking the charge. Realized the other day thumbing through some old load data with targets that I had a winner with RL15 but I'm down to a half pound so I'm seeking an alternate.

Pulled the 410 reloader off the bench in the back room, went out to the garage, brought in the 12 gauge reloader and 7/8 ounce wads and mounted it on the indoor reloading bench.

Bring them in when they’re cold!

    Now on to other things!
Going to make up some more bullet lube tomorrow.
    60% beeswax
    40% olive oil
+ 1 blue crayon for color!
Need to lube up a batch of bullets for the
    .45 cal. rifles!

Is the 60/40 mix by weight or volume? The reason I ask is I’ve been using an old American rifleman recipe of two parts beeswax, two parts paraffin, one part Crisco, (by weight) which I like because it stays firm in one hundred degree heat when I’m outside and doesn’t get too sloppy, but I’d like to mix up a little bit of yours to see how it behaves in high heat outdoors.

I recently tossed 143 cast bullets I had left from my Quigly rifle days. Tried numerous times to rid of them here. Too bad you weren't aroung a few months back.
And if anyone else has anything Sharps related they want to "re-home" please let me know..
    I load .50-140, .50-70, .45-90 and .45-70!
I cast most of my own bullets, so old or unusable ones just go in the pot for new ones!

60/40 by volume works fine for me. Still soft enough to work with, but holds together without getting "runny" in the summer.
And you could always mix it 75/25 if you were concerned about warm weather performance.

While trying not watch the Texans play....
Loaded some .45-70 for the trapdoor.
    388gr. RPHB cast
    65 gr. CTG BP
If it warms up just a little bit tomorrow, going to try and shoot some groups.

The wife went for a nap, and I went to reload. Finished all the 150gr SWC that I had. Ended up with 400 by the time I ran out. These bullets don't have a crimp groove, and a longer nose than most. I bought them to try in the 9mm, and that didn't work out. But I ordered them .358 so I could shoot them up in .38's if it didn't work out. I was just sizing them down for the 9mm. They shoot just fine in .38, but I'd sooner have a crimp groove.

Got the pull down powder I ordered from American Reloading the other day, so I decided I’d load up a few test rounds with some Barnes 140 grain Match Burner bullets for my 6.5 creedmoor. Ive never been able to get those bullets to shoot great, but I really need to get some chrono data for this powder.

    Gunz are icky.
    Drove up to 10ring.com
Bought some brass, lubrisizer die and punch, ammo storage boxes, Little Dandy powder dispenser, some misc cleaning stuff, big reloading block for the 45-70.
Got home. Loaded 150rds of 38Spl and prepped 100rds of 44spl.
