SQLGeek, give a shout if you want to check stuff out before you buy. I know I would’ve done it different. PM me.
I still disagree. To be fair though, I bought mine coated already but I had 3 different bullets and they all flaked off and when squished the coating just fell off. My powder coat never flaked when squished. Someday I'll send a dozen bullets to you to coat for me and see if yours works better.Go straight to Hi-Tek. It's the superior coating.
Oh man, to me that is the best part of the process IMO. You forgot "chamfering, weighing, and inspecting" but that is ok... To each his own (OCD).Processing 300 Blackout brass. I really hate processing brass. Right now I'm in the resizing and trimming phase.
I must have had to tell people that we were out of 9mm ammo 100 times today, at least.
How hard has it become to get reloading supplies? Is it still easy to get bullets, casings, etc.?
I'm thinking maybe it's time for me to take the step.
I work at a gun shop and can get ammo pretty cheap. But, that doesn't do me any good when there's no ammo to buy.
I’m not saying the components aren’t available right now, but most of us started stockpiling ammo and reloading components long ago just for a rainy day like this.I must have had to tell people that we were out of 9mm ammo 100 times today, at least.

Sounds like you picked the best time. Ammo hard to find and people charging an arm and a leg for it online.I almost ordered a press a few weeks ago. But, my head is still swimming with all the details I need to know.
I can see where I can get some of the supplies. But, I'm not even sure if they're the right things. Right now, focusing on components might be better than on the press and dies. Those will always be there.
I just picked a bad time to get into reloading.
I didn't stockpile components. I just loaded all mine. Too bad they all went down with that boat.I’m not saying the components aren’t available right now, but most of us started stockpiling ammo and reloading components long ago just for a rainy day like this.
If you're looking for cheap, buy a box of Berry's 100gr .355 and a box of 115gr .355. that'll cover 380 and 9mm. You just have to find someone who has them in stock online. Try Graf's, Midway, Natchez. I hate to say it but cheaper than dirt has good prices sometimes. Armorally.com has good deals on bulk but might not have the 32 caliber stuff.Except I was going to dip my toe in with my 32cal since it's so expensive to buy. And, now it looks like I need 9mm, 380acp, 32acp, AND 32s&wlong. All at once.
Where do I buy all this stuff?!
