    Like cheesy scalloped potatoes? That's interesting... My favorite way to do rutabaga is to dice into cubes and oven roasting them in a little oil; seasoned with salt and allspice. I keep them in the oven until they start to caramelize in their own sugars. They come out tasting like somewhere between butternut squash, sweet potatoes, and turnips. I don't really care for sweet potatoes or turnips, but I really like the rutabaga.
    Hell I'll eat them raw when I'm prepping them. If you do them as scalloped use heavy cream.

    Salmon, risotto and spinach. Beats the hell out of what I've eaten the last couple of weeks .
    Salmon and spinach go really well together, that combination is also on my menu quite often but remember, on gun forums it did not happen if you do not post graphic photographic evidence.
