    Gunz are icky.
Prologue: What you are about to read I have had buried in the back of my mind for over 50 years. I have only told a very few people about this over this time. It was a life-changing event, I have kept it a secret due to my career and the security clearances I have held as high as Top-Secret Clearance. It’s just not something you talk about. I never mentioned to my father who held TS/SSBI-Yankee White level and had spent some time at the Pentagon working on USAF Project Blue Book. The following is a true account.

    Texarkana, Ark, Tennessee Rd UFO

It was an early fall day, Saturday, 1964 around 10 am. I had asked a friend and neighbor, John Henson to come down to my house and help me change spark plugs on my car. It was a beautiful warm, sunny and clear sky day. As is so often the case the last spark plug broke off when I went to tighten it down. This meant a trip into town and buy a new plug.

We hopped in my truck and headed towards town. The meant about 1-½ miles down Tennessee Rd, hang a right and drive about the same distance over to Hwy 82, then left toward town.

This location is one of the highest in Miller County and it drops off real fast as you head toward Hwy 82 thru Lakewood Estates. We have made the right off Tennessee Rd and are driving into Lakewood Estates and it’s about 200 yards before you start to drop off.

We are talking away and as we approach the downhill, I look to my left and it was an OMG moment. I bring the truck to a stop and we are both fixated and flummoxed on what we saw. Yep, for real a UFO! Its large a good 75 ft across, it’s definitely saucer shaped, very aerodynamic and about 25 feet thick in the center tapering to a rolled edge about 2 feet thick.

The color was that of anodized Titanium, looking similar to anodized cookware only not as dark. There did not appear to be any seams or other openings, no windows or doors were visible. The object appeared (?) to be slowly rotating on its axis, made a low humming sound and seemed to be extremely surface hot as the air below the outer edge was a bit hazy like looking across an asphalt road on a hot day.

Suddenly the awe began to wear off and I said, “what in the hell is that” and hit the accelerator. We drove down the hill, stopped at Wooten Lake in Lakewood Estates, and then decided to go back. It was no longer there.

Where it had sat (hovered) just above ground level everything was laid over flat.

I stopped there a few more times and it had clearly left a large round open area behind. I left in ’67 and never really returned until somewhere around 2004 to visit with John Henson and some other friends I had not seen in years. I drove over there and even with 40 years passing the spot where the UFO had sat was clearly visible, large, round and open. I went there again, when I attended my 50th class reunion and in spite of it having always being a heavily grown and wooded area, there is a large round open spot where the UFO sat to this day. https://www.google.com/maps/place/33°25'01.5"N+93°57'39.7"W/@33.4146986,-93.9602998,847m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m14!1m7!3m6!1s0x86346cf6cbe02715:0x2ae16a17af32cce6!2sTennessee+Rd,+Texarkana,+AR+71854!3b1!8m2!3d33.4134779!4d-93.9615761!3m5!1s0x0:0x0!7e2!8m2!3d33.4170946!4d-93.9610246

Epilogue: Shortly before my Dad passed away I asked him about Project Blue Book, the Governments investigation into UFO’s. I asked him if he thought they were real based upon his knowledge. Never in my life had I ever heard the words that he uttered: “No comment.” He took that and whatever he did in his military career in the OSI to his grave.

I've no doubt you saw what you saw.
Was it an alien spacecraft? Probably not.
The super secret squirrel uber level 87 folks were real real busy with all manner of experimental military aircraft then. Heck, they still are.
Many unique designs were tried. You were able to see one.

Well that sure trumps the stories about finding women's underwear & porn mags.

Except that in Sept 2015 where it sat in a very heavy wooded area was still barren after over 50 years. I personally do believe it was an alien craft since I saw it in the bright sunshine of a fall morning and that I do not believe we are alone or the first in this universe.

Having said that, bear with me for a moment and assume we are not alone and not the first and there is a world out there that is only 500 years ahead of us in technology. Our earth is less than 5 Billion years old, living in a Universe that is 13.8 Billion years old, dwell on that and its easy to see just based upon our tech development only since WWII that another earth out there only a few years ahead of us would be a LONG way ahead of where we are at.

Just my belief, not trying to convert anyone.

    Warning: Slightly Off Topic -

Actually, I’ll fess up and say that’s my belief too. I think the element of “time” is the great unknown in the question of this overall equation. The effect of speed or “rate of evolution” is an unknown quantity to us.

I once saw a single line bar graph with little triangle markers along the bar. The bar represented the total length of time of human existence. Each placement of the markers along that bar graph, represented a ‘doubling of total human knowledge’. What immediately got my attention, was the further to the right you went along the graph, the more compressed the markers got. IOW, the markers got closer and closer together.

For instance, at first it took, say a million years for the sum of total human knowledge to double. And then it doubled again around the Greek or Roman period and then doubled again around Renaissance period, and continuing to compress until today’s time when it’s doubling every fifty years or so. [This encompasses knowledge for all areas of human endeavors; electrical, mechanical, medical, physics, etc., etc.]

I first ran across that graph in high school. I tried using it to explain my poor grades to my father (who grew up in the 1930s). “But Dad, there’s just SO much more to learn today, than when you were a kid!” (.....he wasn’t ‘buying it’... I still got grounded).

Something tells me that line has tapered off and started its plunge towards Idiocracy.

I don't believe in evolution being linear from a one cell to mankind, its just does not work. There is far more than a missing link, try linkS!

If evolution were a fact, then riddle me this:

    1) Why don't I have 3 arms and hands. How many times in your life have you said "if only I had 3 hands"?

    2) OK, 1 was kinda tongue in cheek, but riddle this: ONLY humans have to wipe their ass when they take a chit, no other animal needs to!

I went to the family farm of lady friend, Diane. It was deep in the woods of Missouri and for a Chicago boy, it opened up a whole, new world. I sat on a tractor for the first time, ever.

Diane and I went for a walk in the thick woods and came upon a large sink hole. We shared an evil grin then climbed down deep into the hole where we proceeded to ..... well, you know.

So..... This city boy found love, lust, satisfaction in a sink hole in Missouri. Thinking back, that area is snake city. It's lucky that we didn't stir up a venomous reptile!

Brush up on the bro code, dude. You have to be in a long term relationship, or married, before you can call that "strange."

    A 19 hole golf course!!!! ( I'll let y'all cipher that one.)
    Way back in the 1960's:

There was a public Golf course in Dallas that was split by a major road, 9 holes on each side of the road. It was summer and a Sunday morn about 7 am when me and my buddy are woken up by some guys saying: If you 2 guys don't mind, could you move your car, we would like to play this hole. I look up to see a flag with a 7 on it. I say sure, fire up my Corvette and look around seeing the road and head toward it.
