I'll say it again, this is a hard to beat combo. I travel with a 92, the carbine, and an undisclosed number of magazined.Beretta Storm Carbine in 9mm.
and a Beretta M92 9mm.
Better than nothing, but you're handicapping yourself. You can get a decent enough AR15 for the same price as a lever gun these days.I have considered a lever action for self defense. Something like a 30/30 or a Henry lever 45 long Colt.
I'm not advocating but I've always been fascinated by the pump-action rifles that take AR or AK mags or are simply based on those designs.What about the pump action carbines?
I like Remington 76xx's... I bought a 760 for the wife because she likes traditional looking guns (blued with wood stocks), and she thinks the pump action is fun. While it's a fine hunting rifle for typical deer stand distances, it does not hold up well to my style of shootingRemington produced the 7615P, which looked just like your grandad's hunting rifle.
