many years ago when I first started buying my very own guns, I started with a high-point 9mm pistol. Eventually I bought the 9mm carbine. I no longer own any high points, "cheap" guns, Saturday night specials, or POS guns, but I would buy the high point 9mm carbine again. If I catch it or the 45 carbine online or at a pawn shop below retail I would swoop it up in a heart beat.

    Gunz are icky.
Here's a pic of the Storm.

My one complaint about the Storm Carbine is the trigger. It blows.
Maybe the newer made ones are better?
Sierra Papa supposedly makes a jam-up hammer and transfer bar but at $300 its kinda spendy.
Mine eats everything except the cheap-o 9mm Monarch from Academy.
I prefer the 18rd Mec-Gar mags as they fit flush in the M92 pistol and fit in pouches.

Have you tried working on the trigger.

Doesn't make it great, but makes it much better.

I think once ours is SBRd we may remove the material connecting the bottom of the pistol grip to the butt stock.

Would take some handy epoxy work to cover where the work had been done.

Yeah, I cleaned the hammer. Haven't touched the trigger.
I'll leave the stock as is. One day I may want to re-sell.

Hmm, if the CX4's are coming down in price again I might have to check them out. Why are the .45acp ones only 8rds? :p

Younggun, are you bringing your's to Hicksville?

They have a forearm replacement that does just that and rotates 90 degrees so that you can keep an optic mounted.
I've seen those. I don't buy that anything that can rotate like that is stable enough for an optic. Maybe if you don't mind 8 MOA groups. I suppose that's combat accurate ;)

    Yeah, it will be there.

Technically, I bought it for LG. Just make sure it's not referred to as mine at the meet. She gets the idea that I try to lay claim to her guns sometimes.

it's weird sometimes the 9mm are higher than the 45 and sometimes it's the other way
