I sold my 1911 and a shot gun yesterday. making a deal with someone for a trade on a boat for a 1911 so I need a 1911 around the 2k range so may run in today.

No, just make sure its unloaded. Have the action open as you approach the door to save time.

Yep, unloaded meaning no ammo in it or on you. There are police officers at the door that need to secure the weapon, usually with a zip tie. Do not remove it while at the show, or if you do, do so at a vendor who can replace it after it's been taken off.

Whoo hooo! traded that shotgun for a Ruger 89. and with a little research online, It's part of the 1st generation.

Overall I'd have to say that was a darn good gun show. Everything else around here lately has been pretty bland with the same ol crap.

It was a really good show. Almost walked out with a Mossberg 930 for 3-gun, but they only make the stupid thing with a cylinder bore.

So I bought an FN SLP Mark I instead.

My buddy picked up a Colt AR and a H&K 416 pistol.

I left with a sweet Pink magpul iphone case (for the Mrs of course...)

I think it was a bit of both. I wish 'em luck getting $270 out of a single-shot NEF 20 gauge, though!

Always there...unfortunately, too big a chance of AD with that many loaded guns bein' handled.
