    Hoji,

    Excellent point.

    Coral snakes are curious too.

From far away I've had them make a bee-line for me when in my yard.

    Weird.

No display of aggression though...good thing too as I've read there's no antivenin for this snake on the market anymore....

Friend of mine found this one today. Choked to death on a frog.

A hawk or roadrunner will be the beneficiary of this murder/suicide

Again, buncha sissies out there when it comes to snakes.

Personal insults don’t change the fact that snakes with splattered heads don’t bite. 100% effective.

Buncha tree huggers out there worried about a silly reptile.

Not a personal insult, a statement of fact backed up by all of the purse clutching and hand wringing every time a snake thread happens.

In addition to the aforementioned “sissies” comment, there is a ton of ignorance out here as well, also evidenced by the tons of misidentified snakes in pictures, “my grandpa tole me once” stories and the abundance of folks that absolutely refuse to believe the facts backed up by decades of research.

I find identification isn’t all that important. They all become extremely docile once their heads are splattered.

It’s also much easier to identify then once they have splattered heads because they don’t try to get away.

And 70% of statistics are made up.

Even using these numbers 60% of the time it is not due to snake charming. For anyone with any common sense, your advice is worthless. And your attitude, as always, remains arrogant.

As a kid learned not to step over a log or rock, but step on top, then look before stepping down.

In scouts, was rock climbing around Llano and pulled myself up onto a ledge, and right on top of a corral snake.

Damn good thing they usually have to chew a bit to bite.

It went one way, I went around ...

Learned everything you know on the third grade playground?

Still no response on how your advice helps the 60% who are not blithering idiots?

    Have a good evening.

    • 90 percent of snakebite victims are males

    • 50 to 80 percent of the bites are to the hand

    • 40 to 60 percent of the time the victim was handling the snake when bit
Now, this is Florida. One thing about Florida , if you are in possession of a native venomous snake without a permit, it is a hefty fine. Gives a dipshit reason to lie about how his hand got bit.

I stand by the statement that the vast majority of snakebites in United States is due to sheer stupidity and could have been avoided if they just followed the rule “don’t put your hands anywhere you wouldn’t put your dick”

And you and HK stand with—>

You have a good night as well
