No, the russians are shooting down their own aircraft fearing they are stormshadows missiles. Its "friendly" fire. Iirc, they shot down four of their own aircraft over russia yesterday or over the last few days.

Remind me who mediated the negotiations? But yeah, pretty much willing to say he is FOS. Ukraine and Russia will not be in a place to have meaningful negotiations for a while yet. Too many Ukrainians support pushing russia out at all costs and too few russians know what is going on and those that do don't want to fall out of a window.

their economy has been in a decline over the long term anyway. Predictions were that their GDP would fall over 12% due to the weak sanctions and it didn’t. it fell 2% and is still higher than it has been in several recent years. if it makes you feel better to credit the war for that then cool, but at the end of the day their economy is still going down the drain just the same as without the war.
It’s weird being called a liberal for not supporting the dems proxy war, while maintaining a stance similar to what Trump said in his town hall the other day. Just calling someone a liberal because they disagree without doesn’t make someone a liberal, or help you look smart.
You are parroting a story from TASS that says the talks were preceeding wonderfully till the us stopped them. Phucking TASS the only agency with such reporting, excluding other Russian news reports crediting TASS which cites a Russian official.
You are ignoring the words of the Man you cited that said France was on board, Canada and the UK wernt enthused they would work and the US was in the middle, skeptical but not against them.
The talks were proceeding with the 2 sides not far apart but ended ended after Russian War atrocities were discovered.

I dont disagree that the US may find it beneficial to have russia busy and getting beaten up, but the negotiations were not going to happen/get results no matter what the US said or did.
The VAST majority want to fight to regain the occupied areas at all costs. Had negotiations conceded anything it would have been horrifically unpopular among voters and was not going to happen.
It was like going into pawnstars asking for full MSRP on an item... just because a guy as they walk in says its not worth going in there if you want msrp, it doesn't mean that guy sabotaged the deal since it was never going to happen in the first place.

Been a while since I posted (on this thread or another) but I've seen my country turn hard left right down the shitter, Don't even know why in phucq I ever wore Army Green was I Rambo hell no was there times I thought what in hell was I doing......yeah, but by god I still wore the woodland camo that I was issued. Now I have to wonder what damn good did it do as I look around me.
Don't care to, or have time for patience anymore.
